Welcome to NMMU LIFE, our site dedicated to us students attending the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. NMMU LIFE is here to serve all the students attending the various campuses that make up NMMU by offering services we actually need.

As a free independent website focusing on the community of NMMU students, we get to mingle with other students who are attending our university thus broadening our relationships within our community at our Campuses. Great.

As a student they say we will never have as much free time as we do now and PE has a host of events to offer. So with the help of  a network of students we have compiled a list for anyone and everyone attending Nelson Mandela Metro University.

Weather

Campus can be daunting in the rain so we offer the ultimate umbrella…up to date weather from the Weather Channel to keep us covered and in the know for those awesome beach days.

Our innovative DigsFinder allows us students to find the type of accommodation we would like, where we like it. There are numerous places to live in and around our campuses however now we can find the place we have always dreamed of close to university. We can share digs, and find houses, townhouses apartments and any other type of student accommodation our hearts desire.

We can also post accommodation for free so you can find a decent student digsmate to share accommodation with. Ahhh relief.

You can sell your second hand textbooks for FREE, MAHALA on NMMU LIFE to authentic students who will actually buy them as they also attend our University and are doing the courses you were. No longer do you have the hassle of running around posting flyers. Shew, thank goodness.

Just sell your textbooks on NMMU LIFE to Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University of students or buy them from other students for much cheaper than the price of new textbooks.

The sincere thing about NMMU LIFE’s classifieds is that we can sell or buy things from other students who are attending NMMU. The even better part is that it is FREE yes MAHALA. So you can find jobs from advertisers who are looking for students or pick up a bargain for half the price.

The Bargains Box is a magical box who we NMMU students have come to rely heavily on at the end of the month. The PE Campus is situated in the heart of Port Elizabeth which happens to be a rather expensive city. So NMMU LIFE is dedicated to saving the buck for us students.

Varsity can just be too demanding not to add the stress of admin so NMMU LIFE has sought out all the best places where we can find services we need as humble or not so humble students. Ranging from panelbeaters…we hope not, gulp…to coffee shops, gulp mmmh… student bargains is just another simple student services for us varsity goers who need a helping hand. 

We get to post pictures of ourselves and friends on the photos page, all we have to do is email our pictures or be caught on campus by one of the many students who are apart of NMMU LIFE.
